First week of April = Done!

The first coat of stucco is on, and you can't see it in this picture, but the front door is up and we are locked out! Mcmillin doesn't let you inside during the final weeks, but we peeked in the windows to see our cabinets and floors. Almost done!!

Before you move into the new house, you gotta sell the old house. So, welcome to this edition of "This Old House." The sink in our bathroom needed to be replaced. It was rusty on the outside, it was rusty on the inside. Bad for us, the sink was hexagon shaped. They don't make hexagon shaped sinks anymore. SO! Brad was determined to fit a square sink in a hex shaped hole. See before and after pictures...















This involved using a circular saw and a masonry blade for all the long cuts in tile and thickset mortar, and Tony's reciprocal saw for the corners. (Thank you Tony!)

Look, A Roof!

Things are progressing very nicely on our new home. We now have a roof, and it looks like we are moving into the final stages. If all goes as planned, our new home should be ready the end of March, beginning of April! How Snooky! :)

Check out these cute kitties! Right before we took these pictures, Cindy was trying to swipe at Logan...she didn't like it too much that he came to sit beside her on the couch. She was a little bit "unhoppy" or "o-in-the-fended", in case you didn't know how to write that! Oh, and the last picture is our new addition to the family, born on Dec.19th, just like his mommy, it's Buster. Isn't he cute...he told us he doesn't get any older than 29 either...just like his mom.
