Prepping to Move...

We spent most of the day today painting in the new house. We didn't want to have "white" walls, and so we decided to paint most of the house in what's called "Boston Tea Party". It's very nice and makes such a huge difference with the feel of the house. Big thanks to Dad for helping us paint!!!!

We've Got Trees

Tomorrow is the big day...we officially get the keys and can get into our house at any time we want. :) The walk-thru was Monday and that went very well. The house looks great. Ask Brad about the insulation...he's very excited with how much there is in the attic.

April 10th = Walk-Thru

We have a date for our "walk-thru". :) April 10th. Then if all goes well, we could possibly have the keys to our new casa on April 11th. Snooky Great! We were reflecting on this today and thinking back to when it all began, and it is so hard to remember when it was just a dirt lot! But we feel extremely blessed by God to have such a wonderful home.

First week of April = Done!

The first coat of stucco is on, and you can't see it in this picture, but the front door is up and we are locked out! Mcmillin doesn't let you inside during the final weeks, but we peeked in the windows to see our cabinets and floors. Almost done!!
