Kitty In A Box

We got a package the other day in a very nicely padded box (there had been a computer in it). We set the box on one of our desks and of course, Cindy thought it was the nicest place to be. She was in there all day...how snooky!

Happy Day After Groundhog Day!

Did he see his shadow? Do we know what that means? Apparently if he see his shadow there are 6 more weeks of winter vs. if he doesn't see it, an early spring. How do they know if he sees his shadow? Do they ask him? Squeak, Squeak, Squeak'ums...Squeak, Squeak, Squeaker... (If you haven't seen The Emperor's New Groove you should definitely watch it...) (Do groundhogs speak like squirrels?)

On a different note, we have great news, Brad got hired on full time with the school district he was working at as one of their IT guys. We are very excited for him and truly blessed from God by this opportunity for him. Praise God!

And what would a blog be without pictures, so here are some pictures of Sam and Seth from when we visited them at their new home last weekend!

Otterpops Anyone?

The otterpop party was a lot of fun. We had otterpops, of course, but also enjoyed some indoor s'mores and lots of games. Our youngest guest this year, Abigail, also enjoyed the otterpops, but more as a teething ring than anything else.

Look What I Did At School!

Brad finished his woodworking class last week on Monday. After weeks and weeks of sanding, cutting, and staining, he finally finished and got to take home his beautiful table! He put in a lot of hours, but had so much fun "playing" that he's already signed up for the next class.

Joy's Bday Celebration

Our good friend Joy turned 30 and so to celebrate we took a hummer-limo down to Los Angeles and ate at the Rainforest Cafe in downtown disney. It was a lot of fun. The Rainforest Cafe is this neat restaurant that is decorated like a rainforest, hence the name, and occasionally the lights will go on and off as it rumbles and lightnings and rains...yes, rains (just not on you, thankfully!), in the restaurant. All the while there are these jungle noises...elephants, birds, monkeys, etc. to make you feel like you are really in a rainforest.
