1 Month!
Wow, has it already been 1 month? Time flies with a new baby and yet at the same time, sometimes it feels like it stands absolutely still. I think the still times are when I am constantly feeding him and I think, haven't I just done this? But it's working...the feeding...because he weighed in at 11 pounds today! So much for the rule following my c-section, "don't lift anything more than 10 pounds..." :)
Asher is doing great, he's waking up more during the day so we get to see his beautiful eyes. He is still really mellow, although he is finding his voice recently and letting us know when he is not happy. Although really, he's almost always happy. He is a big little blessing. His nightly feedings are stretching a bit and he will usually give me one 4 hour stretch, that is really nice. I know I will miss it, it's just really hard to appreciate it when you are in the middle of it. Ok, maybe I won't miss the late night feedings, but I will miss this stage of being a baby, it's going very quick this time.
Here are a few pictures of this little man.

Home!
We've been adjusting to having three kids at home for the past few weeks. It's hard to believe that tomorrow Asher will be 2 weeks old. He's been doing really well, gaining weight, sleeping a lot...and overall being the easiest baby we've ever had. The kids can be making a racket and he peacefully sleeps through it. He kind of had no choice in the matter, being the third child. He's so different than Calvin and Mia were, for one, he actually sleeps in his crib. Calvin and Mia took months to sleeping in their cribs, Mia because we held her so much in the hospital (at least that's my theory) and Calvin would only sleep propped up because I'm fairly confident he had a reflux issue...but Asher, he's a trooper, which is a blessing. The kids love their little brother, which is another blessing...they've done a great job adjusting.
Calvin has reached a major milestone this week, he no longer needs a pacifier. With Mia, she stopped using hers right before she turned two...Calvin, on the other hand, was much more attached to it and finally no longer needs it. Praise the Lord!
I've been getting as much sleep as possible with a newborn. Asher goes for about 3 hour stretches at night, every now and then I'll get a four hour stretch which feels amazing. I'm trying to really appreciate those late night feedings because I know they won't last forever.
Thursday we celebrated Daddy's birthday, the kids had fun decorating and making him Lego brownies. They also really enjoyed opening all of his gifts. Calvin wants to know "who's birthday is next." :) Here are some pictures...

Asher Bradley
We are home and doing great. Asher is a wonderful little baby, he's very mellow and the kids adore him already. They are our big helpers and are very happy to help out however. It's overdue, but here are some pictures of the new little man (we can thank grampapa for them!)

I can't believe that he will be here tomorrow! We are excited to meet the little guy. Thank you to all those who are praying for us, we really appreciate that! So, I finally let Brad take some belly pictures of me these past few weeks...here they are..one a few weeks ago before I cut all my hair off and then tonight...at a couple days short of 40 weeks.
