So Mia now has a case of diaper rash. We were anticipating this happening eventually. It is super uncomfortable and changing diapers is no fun. We keep putting on the cream that the doctor gave us and so hopefully it will start to get better soon, but be praying for her.
She's getting around much better and eating much better! Those are definite praises! We have even started back to therapy, but aren't pushing her too much yet.
We were supposed to go to LA today, but since the grapevine was closed (the pass over the mountains to get to LA) because of ice and snow we rescheduled for next week. Hopefully the weather will clear up and things will be much better next week!

Brad and Lisa I have been folowing your blog for over a year now and I am so happy that Mia has progressed so well. What miracles you have experienced. I am a friend of your friend Marci. Anyway I just wnated to give you the recipe for a great diaper rash cream. It is equal parts of: vaseline, Desitin (or the cheaper generic equivalent), corn starch and Maalox (liquid). It really works wonders and it was given to us by the nurses when my grandson was in the hospital 7 years ago.
God bless you all and I am one of the many praying for Mia. Roberta
Welcome to diaper-changing land! My daughter uses something called California baby cream, which is hypoallergenic. don't know if it can be purchased in California....
Love, Gina
