Alpha Bits

I've been looking everywhere for Alpha Bits cereal, but I haven't been able to find it. I figured it would be a big hit with Mia since she likes letters so much. Well, today at school, one of the Aides had found a box at a grocery store and bought it for Mia. She was so excited. So, at lunch we had some Alpha Bits...I've never seen my daughter eat so much. She couldn't get enough of those letters. We also mixed in some normal food, but she was happy to keep munching on those letters. I have no clue if this will be a one time hit or something that she likes more long term, we'll see. By the way, she does like Spaghetti O's that are letters too, if only every food came shaped like a letter? Hmmm....

At Target they have Alphabet Tater Tots. Becca loves them she will eat her whole name. You can also make Alphabet Pancakes and cookies. At World Market they have Alphabet Pasta. At Costco they have alphabet Cheezit Crackers. My kids like all things alphabet too!!

You should buy some letter cookie cutters! I'm so glad she is finding things she loves to eat. Layla loves looking at pictures of Mia on your site.

I saw some cheese-it type crackers at Target yesterday that have letters on them - I think they said something about scrabble.

Cereal is a HUGE snacking thing around here. My son nibbles on cereal several times a day. We haven't tried alpha bits though.

Lisa: The letter cutouts are on their way...do not go out and buy them! Plus an article with a lot of good ideas in this area. Keep up the good work and remember to have fun! Grammy J
